rec2mpg

This utility is designed to do a fast conversion from the toppy's .rec format to the more normal mpeg format. It does not re-encode and there is no loss of quality.

Installation Instructions.

1. Download rec2mpg and install it.
2. Download and install GUI for DVD Author, the normal setup version should be fine.
3. Ensure you have Java installed, and it's up-to-date. The installer it will automaticaly open your browser at the java.com home page for you, please follow the 'Do I have Java?' link to verify you are up-to-date.

Usage.

When you have a rec file you want to convert to mpg just right click it and select 'Convert to mpg'.
